Genius, the song lyric powerhouse app, is getting on the story bandwagon and is launching “Song Stories”, a feature in partnership with YouTube. Users will be able to listen to a song and watch a story diving deeper behind the scenes with info including interviews, concert footage, music videos, and more. 

YouTube’s Global Head of Music, Lyor Cohen explains: “At YouTube we’re working every day to push the envelope and find new ways to enhance the overall music experience by better connecting artists and fans. This project with Genius provides a more immersive way to explore music—it’s the perfect example of innovating in pursuit of this goal.”
